The quality of an RTO’s assessment tools is one of the critical concerns of ASQA. ASQA have concerns with the processes being used for assessment validations. They are particularly dismayed by the lack of objectivity, and depth of analysis contained with the validation reports being used as evidence to meet standard 1.9 to 1.11.

Providing professional student support services?
Both the Standards for RTO’s and Registered Providers (CRICOS) detail the importance of providing support services to students to ensure that their needs are identified and learning plans put in place to assist in completing their courses. Standard 1.7 requires the RTO to support the needs of the student, yet most RTO’s do not have the resources internally to provide such a service however this can be achieved through outsourcing.
VETFair has specialists who are qualified to provide this service on a needs basis. These practitioners can be contracted to your RTO to deliver this vital support service when necessary.
